var spacefind1=find(" ",Orders[Customer Name])

return

var extractingword=left(Orders[Customer Name],spacefind1)

return extractingword

change bold headers accordingly with your data

you can also perform the same in power query select the column and split the colum with delimeter

@Paulyeo11 yes you can make use of power query transformation wherever possible to avoid creating measures:-)
