Hi All

How to make use of DAX to create 2 new fields from "GL Description" field 

For Example :-

AM ACCOUNTANCY FEE

i Hope to convert to :-

GL_Desc2=AM

GL_Desc_Oth=ACCOUNTANCY FEE

Add the following two columns, replace the name of your table and column name with yours in the formula:

GL_Desc2 = LEFT(Table[Column],2)
GL_Desc_Oth = TRIM(MID(Table[Column],3,255))
