How to limit rows displayed in preview from query editor?

I have a large data set that is causing slowing when in preview of queries. How can i limit this to only a few rows rather than 1000?

The best way is that you filter data, then click "x" in the right pane for this step at the end.

and you could also disable “Allow Data Preview To Download In The Background” Option in the power bi to imporve the proference.

Can you start filtering based on ID ? Once you are done, you can remove the filter.
