How to keep selection in a matrix while select another value from another matrix

Hello all,

I have three matrixes which I am trying to achieve, when a user select a row from first matrix and then second matrix I'd want to keep my selection from first matrix for my third matrix

My first matrix includes Category > Sub Category > Product Group

Second Matrix includes Brand ID

Third Matrix includes Product ID.

At the moment when I select a value from second matrix it overwrites selection of first one and in my third matrix it shows products which didn't belong my category selection from first matrix.

I tried to use VALUES and SELECTEDVALUE but couldn't find an answer.

please find attached my sample file

kind regards

Hi @jamuka ,

Such scenario may accor when the three matrix are created based on fields

1.from a same table

2. or from different tables but there are built relationships among them.

So you may need to create a new seperate table.

If you are still confused about it, please provide me with more details about your table and your expected output or share me with your pbix file after removing sensitive data.

Best Regards,
Eyelyn Qin

Hello @v-eqin-msft

thank you for your answer, I shared my pbix file in my question. I created a seperated table but couldn't figure out how to proceed. I assume I shouldn't built relationship between tables and use measures for filtering.
