How to import data from an .ASP website directly to Power BI?

Hello,

I know the possibility to connect directly to a table from a website using "from web" in Power BI and this is one ir the greatest things to help automate some tasks.
But in a specific website this is not working, probably because of the extension .ASP. It is a government agency website which lists the power plants in Brazil.

When I use the link which resumes the data it is possible to connect in Power BI without any problem:
http://www2.aneel.gov.br/aplicacoes/capacidadebrasil/capacidadebrasil.cfm

but in none of the links inside the tables it is possible to connect. Even with right click, all of them return a single name in search bar (http://www2.aneel.gov.br/aplicacoes/capacidadebrasil/GeracaoTipoFase.asp) which all have a .ASP extension and may this is the source of the problem.

Is there a way to connect to the tables linked inside the main website directly in PBI? eu

MS is continually enhancing this feature, but there are still some circumstances where it doesn’t work. You could try the new “query by example” feature. You need to enable it from preview features.

Great to see your reply, from the DAX ninja, Matt!

It turns out that I just read the last blog article from your own site and I think it will help me!
