How to hide/suppress subtotals of a row measure in a matrix report?

This my Table1 data:

This is what it looks like in the matrix report:

I add two new measures (I know, I could do it with one):

 

 

Net Annual = sum(Table1[Amount])

and

Monthly Avg = [Net Annual]/12

I go to Format - Values - Show on rows and turn it on.

 

 

I add Monthly Avg to the report; now the report looks like this:

How do I get it to look like this?

Hi @RBear

In Power BI, Go to Format->Subtotal, turn off Row Subtotal bar.

I tried this before 😞 For some strange reason, it results in this:

So it looks like both bottom rows are eliminated.  I may be doing something else wrong but, if so, I can't figure out what.
