I created a slicer on a canvas with dark background. When the slicer expands it lands in to the below visuals that have a white background.
I am struggling with a few things:
1. I cannot set the color of the selected value of the slicer
2. I cannot keep the slicer height fixed to say length of the list (or even hard-code it to a fixed number of rows)
The selected value is black:
Any suggestions?

I think the following is what you are asking about.
For the hight, Formatting Tab --> General --> Height
For the selection color: Formatting Tab --> Items --> Font Color:
I understand the formatting pane - that allows you to set the color for the different slicer options & that same color is chosen for the 'Selected value' (i was hoping to see a way to choose a different color for the selected value as it does that if you use the default color). Anyways that is something I can live with.
The height of drop down window of the slicer cannot be set (in General tab). In my slicer i have only two to four possible options, but slicer dropdown shows me a lot of white space as seen below
@cyclist007 Ahh, sorry about that. I misunderstood. As far as I know that is a limitation of the product and there is not currently a way to set the size or have it dynamically change.

@cyclist007 you have to change font and background color of slicer items in format pane

Yes but it does not let you actually select (a different) color for the selected value. It does when you keep the font color default.
Also the the un-required extra height seems to be more bothersome
@cyclist007 i'm not fully sure what your mean. You can set whever item color you want to choose, and that will be selected and drop down items list color. Not fully clear what you exact question is?
