How to have an option for selecting a table among multiple tables

Hi,

I have multiple tables with same name and same number of columns in every table.

Now I want to keep a selector (for example any button for selecting table name) where I should have an option of selecting one of the table and the rest of the visualisation should change according to the table  I selected. Please guide me how I can do it.

TIA.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on your description, maybe you can use the "Bookmark" option to achieve your desired result. Currently, Power BI does not seem to support this feature that can filter all tables with just one slicer.

Hope that's what you were looking for.

Hi @Anonymous

You can't have tables with the same name.

Can you please supply some examples of your tables and data and the visual you want.  Please supply files and some screenshots.

Regards

Phil

Hi @PhilipTreacy

Sorry I meant multiple tables with same number of columns and same name of all columns in each table.

Example:

Table 1: Dataset Date Country Data Value

Table 2: Dataset Date Country Data Value

Now I have multiple charts using this columns. I want to have selector so that I could select one of the table name and then these multiple charts should update according to the table I selected. Thanks!
