How to group fields in a table

Hello,

In a table, imagine that I have let's say 40 fields and that I would like to group some of those.

For example, suppose that I would like to create a Location Group into Table A and move the following fields into the Location Group.

Table A

var1

var2

...

Location

     Geographic Region

     Location

     Province

     City

      Country

      and so on.

Var6

var7

....

 So How do we create a group into a table and push the field into it?

What's the difference between creating a new group and creating a new hierarchy?

Group is totally different from hierarchy in power bi. Grouping is to aggregate your data into chunks (or groups) based on values found in the underlying data while building hierarchy is to give you drill down option so that you can clearly see the sub-level values.

I found a paper published by Chris Webb about the Nested Display Folders in Power BI.
