How to group custom column values?

I want to group volumes according to the below:

    • 0-20 Kl
    • 21-49 Kl
    • 50-99 Kl
    • >100 Kl

Now I have used the below post to create a customer function: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Creating-groups-based-on-numbers/td-p/196817

But I have a custom column in my query, and after invoking the function I am not able to find the custom column in the fields?

Is there any better way to do this using DAX or Power Query?

@v-jayw-msft  I divided the quantity by 1K, and then used the bucket sizeing to group the values, so its fixed for now.

Hi @Anmolgan ,

Custom columns will not appear in Query Editor, you will have to use DAX to achieve your purpose or you could try using Query Editor to achieve the result of your custom column.

Please share some sample data and expected result to us if you don't have any Confidential Information. We don't know what your table structure looks like, so it's hard to find a solution only by guessing.
