Someone requested access to a report in Power BI…
I went to the report, clicked ‘Share’:
This opened up a box to the right… If I click the ‘access’ tab, I get:
I have 2 questions:
(through trial and error, my guess is that if I want to give someone access to a report, I need to go to the dataset’s ‘Manage permission’ page…) This is a bit counterintuitive… I don’t see why there is a ‘access’ page for the report, since it is manager through the dataset…
Hello
I would like to know if to give access to online reports in necessary to have the PowerBI Pro version, I do not know why every time I try it asks me..
Thank you so much in advance! 🙂
Hi @ovonel ,
This report access should show users who have gained access to the report through the 'Share' feature.
Check the document.
Best Regards,
Jay
The people having access to it appear in the dataset's 'manage permisson' section. The 'report' access is blank.
@ovonel , This report showing you as owner access, It should show other emails or the user name having access to it .
From the first share tab, you should be able to add other users
Clear browser cache and check. Also check the report name, are you looking at correct report
