How to get sum of 1st row

Hi

I've a table contains projectCode and other information plus total budget.

I need to get sum of budget from but of 1st row of each budget for that purpose I've written a DAX like below. Working perfect.

But low performance. How can i optimize this DAX.

Total budget :=
CALCULATE(
        SUMX(
            SUMMARIZE(
                Table,
                Table[ProjectCode],
                "MAX Budget", MAX(Table[TotalBudget])
            ),
            [MAX Budget]
        )
    )

Thanks

Please try this expression instead

Total budget :=
VAR summary =
    SUMMARIZE (
        Table,
        Table[ProjectCode],
        "MAX Budget"MAX ( Table[TotalBudget] )
    )
VAR result =
    MAXX ( summary, [MAX Budget] )
RETURN
    result

Hi @adeelnazir ,

I checked the optimization formula provided by @mahoneypat  and thought it was a good choice. You can test it.

If you still have questions, I suggest you provide the corresponding data model so that I can answer you as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Henry
