How to get grand total to match up in a many to many cardinality

hello - i have transaction table and a master table. The master table is shown below. The transaction table has Account and Amount and is linked to the master table on Account (many to many cardinality).

How do i create a calculation such that when I look at Amount cateogy by, the amount adds up to the grand total. For example, if the transaciton table has one line for Account 1234 with Amount 100, it should be considered as 200 in the grand total.  Any assitance wil be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

We can try to create measure using following DAX to meet your requirement.

Total =
COUNTROWS (
    FILTER ( ALL ( TableA ), [Account] = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Account] ) )
)
* SUM ( 'Table'[Amount] )

If it doesn't meet your requirement, kindly share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.

BTW, pbix as attached.
