How to get a value from column after filtering?

Hi!

I have a table (Versions) like:

NAME / Start / End

Version1 / 1.1.2010 / 31.7.2015

Version2 /1.8.2015 / 31.3.2016

Version3 /1.4.2016 / 1.12.2016

I also have a date in an another table (Requests):

Request / Created / Version

Issue1 / 1.2.2015 /

issue2 / 1.5.2016 /

I need to find correct version.

I have a filter like

filter('Versions'; 'Requests'[Created] >= Versions[Start] && 'Requests'[Created]<= Versions[Stop])

But how i can take a value from the NAME field? Values function doesnt not work. I have tried sum and summarize ... 😞
Thank you for help!

@Anonymous  Please try this as a New Column... "SELECTCOLUMNS" will do the trick for you...

Version = SELECTCOLUMNS(FILTER(Test248Versions,Test248Requests[Created]>=Test248Versions[Start] && Test248Requests[Created]<=Test248Versions[End]),"Name",[Name])

@PattemManohar

You formula works like a charm, thanks!

If I have OVERLAPPING events - I am getting this error:

"A table of multiple values was supplied where a single value was expected."

If I don't care which event to show - how can I handle this?

I tried MAX() but didn't help

Thanks

Michael
