I have a table A with a date field holding data for a full year. I want to be able to filter this table using quarter companent of this date field which i have used as a filter. Then I have a second table B which I now want to do a vlookup from B into the filtered data of A.
Please note, I dont want to have the filtered data in a table visual.
In summary, I just need a way to select a subset of table A using selected quarter in a filter referencing the date field in A, then my lookupvalue can return values from this filtered subset of table A into table B.

Hi, @mikeayus
What’s your kind of way to filter the table data? If you want to use a slicer or filters on the report page to filter the data. I don’t think this can be achieved. Because these kinds of filters can only filter the data displayed on the report.
Would you like to post some sample data in table form or pbix file(without sensitive data) and your expected result(like the chart you want to get?
Thanks very much!
