How to filter a graphs when you select a particular card

Hey All,

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a sample data which I have shown below:

Screenshot 2022-12-07 at 16.01.15.png

So here I have created 2 cards one with Email Null and Second with Names Null. Also, the line graph shows both the Email Null and Names Null by .Now I am trying to create a visulization where there are cards based on the descriptions and also a line graph which shows the data in day by day format(please ignore the data on the graph as it is part of another data from the sample) based on which card I click onto , I have both the visuals on the line graph but I want to only get one of them based on which card I click on. How can I achieve this?

Hi, @SS_1122 ;

You could colse the interactions about line graph and card visuals ;

1.In Power BI Desktop, select Format > Edit interactions.

2.Power BI adds filter and highlight icons to all of the other visualizations on the report page

Hey,

Thank you for your response but in the cards I cannot use the edit interactions. I think it has to be done something like this-  https://www.dalesandro.net/using-cards-to-filter-in-power-bi/
But I can't seem to get this right.
