Hey everybody,
I am pretty new using Power BI but I am running a query and I need to extract from the column “Code”, a specific amount of characters i.e. 10, but the problem they are not always at the same position nor between specific characters but they always start with one of the following combinations:
0ABC
1BCD
3DAB
...
I was thinking of adding an additional column stating:
If “Code” contains (list from above or "0ABC", "1BCD") then extract from that position the 10 following characters including the combination above.
The problem is that I don't know how to write it. It would be amazing if you can help me.
Thanks
Esperanza
Hi @Esperanza11
Which text to you want to get as a final result?
For example, from "980ABC10ersa"-> the final resulat should be "10", right?
Best Regards
Maggie
