How to do an if then

Hi All,

I have a scenario I need help with. In my data I have a column called distributor. There can be many distributor names - like Arrow, Digi-Key, Master, etc. and there are blanks. The blanks mean there are no distributors involved. In a new column, I want to say to say something like this...

If distributor column has data, then call it POS. and If cell is blank, call it OEM.

When done, I want the new column I created to show any line that has a distributor name to show as POS and any blank cell will show as OEM. In the desktop app, I have multiple tables, but am using Billings. The column will be called OEM/POS

Is there a way to phrase this and make that happen?

Thanks

Emma

Hey @emma313823 ,

you can do that with a calculated column and the following code:

OEM POS = IF(Billing[distributor] <> BLANK(), "POS", "OEM")

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
