How to divide a measure by a column.

Hi

 

I currently have 2 Columns [socket_id] and [Current Ratings] and 1 measure which is MAX Power.

 

I need to create a NEW COLUMN that is MAX Power/[Current Ratings] as below. It all relates back to the [socket_id]

You should be able to just add the new column like so.

New Column = DIVIDE ( [MAX Power], YourTable[Current Rating] )

You should be able to just add the new column like so.

New Column = DIVIDE ( [MAX Power], YourTable[Current Rating] )

unfortunately I get the following message - A single value for column 'Current Rating' in table 'readings_true_energy' cannot be determined. This can happen when a measure formula refers to a column that contains many values without specifying an aggregation such as min, max, count, or sum to get a single result.

Please use the above formula in a calculated column not measure. it should work.
