How to display same field from different tables in a column chart without aggregation

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to create a one column chart from two tables which has the same field but values are different. Please see below images for better understanding.

Sample Tables:

mbm_0-1610537549996.png

Expected Result is:

mbm_1-1610537606999.png

Say, Chart 1

But I'm getting either one of the below results instead of correctly splitting the values of Budget vs Expense which is wrong.

mbm_2-1610537664215.png

Say, Chart 2

mbm_3-1610537681930.png

Say, Chart 3

The amount values of Budget are getting aggregated if I select the amount field from the Expense table on X-axis of Column chart and vice versa.

How to adjust the fields in column chart to display the correct values as shown in chart 1.

Please help with your suggestions. Please let me know if you need any further inputs.

Thank you,

Bharath.

Hi @mbm
You can append this two tables in two one prior to this unpivot the columns like below

Expense1.png

In your case just rename the column of Amount to Budget and another table amount to Expense

Expense2.png

After unpivout you will get the result like below

Expense3.png

You can make use of clustered column chart to get your desired result
