How to display dynamic filter value in powerbi desktop

we want to show the dynamic filter value date in powerbi desktop as below screenshot.

saiprathapdp_1-1624082768973.png

The filterd data will change every month so the date should update auomatically in the card value

Ex:- Azure market place Last calender month 5-1-2021 to 5-31-2021

Hi @saiprathapdp ,

You can create a relative date slicer to replace the setting in Filters pane just as shown in the below screenshot. Then create a measure to get the text with dynamic date range...

Measure =
"AZURE MARKETPLACE USAGE - LAST CALENDAR MONTH/YEAR "
    & MIN ( 'Date'[BillingMonth] ) & " TO "
    & MAX ( 'Date'[BillingMonth] )

@saiprathapdp

maybe you can try to create a column

iflastmonth = if('Table'[Date]<=EOMONTH(edate(TODAY(),-1),0)&&'Table'[Date]>EOMONTH(edate(TODAY(),-2),0),"Yes","NO")

Im looking to make a dynamic text box indicating what the months are for the current filter. For example, I have a last calendar month relative data filter. I need the text box to say:

The current month displayed is from 5/1/2021-5/31/2021

@saiprathapdp

is this what you want?

Measure = min('date'[Date])&"-"&max('date'[Date])

No we don't want filters in dashboard.

we want to add only the dynamic date in the text box like below

The current month displayed is from 5/1/2021-5/31/2021

@saiprathapdp

in your previous post:I'm looking to make a dynamic text box indicating what the months are for the current filter.

What's your current filter? Does that mean you only have the data for last month currently?

Hi @ryan_mayu ,

Thanks for your response.

we need to filter same for last one calendar year or last 12 calendar months  as well( we tried with same measure for 1 year as well it is not working because we have 5 years of data)

Please help me for last 12 calendar months or last 1 calendar year

ex:-Azure market place usage for last 1 calendar or last 12 calendar month

@saiprathapdp

what's the filter you used this time? what's the date scope in your data and what's the expected output?

Thanks for your response.

we don't want to visualise the last billing month count value (ex:Last calendar month 44). we need to show the date 5/1/2021-5/31/2021.

this date will change every month because we have  filtered last calender month date. by defauly next month 1st this date will change then it has to be update automatially in text box as well.
