I am not sure exactly how to word this question so apologies if this has been answered previously...
Essentially I want to build a virtual table to mimic the matrix table below. I then need to lookup the percentage at the current hour and day and apply that percentage in a measure.
The percentages are cumulative weighted totals (all measures) for volume filtered to the previous 30 days. I plan to take today's current volume at X hour, and divide by the percentage for the same hour and day to get an estimate for full day volume.
I need the table to be dynamic so I can filter between last 30 days or last 7 days to explore the optimal amount of previous days to predict the most accurate forecast.
Is this a table the right way to approach this problem? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
