How to create a stacked bar chart with rolling totals by quarter

Hello all,

I have three columns of categories (with associated dates) that I would like to get a count of, by quarter, and then make a stacked bar chart.

The data looks like below:

Date          Embedded     Applicable     SentOut

1/12/18     Yes                  No                 Yes

1/15/18      Yes                 Yes                 Yes

.

.

.

3/23/19     No                  No                 No

I would like to make a stacked bar  that would have the quarters of each year on the x-axis and a bar that shows how many 'yes' occurred in each category (embedded, applicable, sent out) for each of the quarters.

I have already made a column that corresponds to the quarter of the year, but am at a bit of a loss on how to proceed. Some hints would be very very much appreciated!

@annaY  - You need a DAX Measure for each category like this:

Count Embedded Yes = COUNTROWS(FILTER(<YourTable>,<YourTable>[Embedded]="Yes"))

Then you can add all 3 Measures as Values in your chart.

Cheers!

Nathan
