How to create a percentage based on a column

I just started learning PowerBI, here is a spreadsheet I am working on:

ID column1

1   Validated

2   Not Validated

3   Validated

4......

I need to create a dashboard with a pie/donut/ring showing the percentage of Validated vs. Not Validated, and two grids beneath the chart.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone can tell me the detailed steps.

Thank you in advance.

@raymondxie

1. Load the data to Power BI  ---Get Data

2. Select PieChart Visual or another (Donut, Bar, Column)

3.  Put Column1 in Legend and Column1 in Values

4. Select Column1 in values and go to Quick Calc

5. In Show Values as : Select Percent of grand total--OK

6.  In Format Tab go to Data Labels --Label Style - Data Value or Both
