How to create a parameter in a report connected through Livequery to SSAS

Hello,

i would like to know, if a develop a report (in PBI Desktop) connected by livequery to an SSAS model, how can i create a parameter so that i can create for example a dropdown by year - preferently without having to do anything from the SSAS model side.

Regards

hello you can use the "Enter data" or a distinct in you query...

enter data.PNG

after this you can find the field whit a measure like:

"

IF(HASONEVALUE(Periods[Mercado]),SWITCH(VALUES(Periods[Mercado]),
"Autoservicios....", [Value Area MTD],
"cash & C....", [Value Area YTD],
"Mayoreo P...", [Value Area RY])) etc

"

Hello @Anonymous

Thank you, but i think your tip doesn't work for what i need; if you are connected through LiveQuery, you don't have access to PowerQuery and to that button in particular.
