How to create a DAX formula in managing roles?

Like in our case, we create roles through ID like :

person name to tables ( report file ) then DAX expression goes like this

Vice President with table filter DAX Expression of [Sales Rep ID] = "0007322" || [Manager ID] = "0007322"

So my question is how am I gonna create a DAX formula if I want to see all persons under the VP Manager?

VP Manager 001 (highest rank)

Regional Manager 002 under with VP

District manager 003 under with Regional Manager

Account managers 004 under with District Manager

Please advise. Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

That would depend on your data structure.

If you have an index column, the DAX formula could be [Index] < (the index of VP).

If the number of values is limited, maybe you can try it like this.

[Manager ID] in {"Value1", "Value2", "Value3"}

Hello,

My apology. I wasn't able to get back to you. Yeah, it helps a lot. The first suggestion works.

Thanks for the help.
