How to count multiple dates

Hi all,

 

Actually I have been struglling with my case like this. 

 

I have the data like this. I have join booking date to master date with cardinality many to one

The rule is if there are data on reschedule date, count how many transaction on that period, else count booking date.

And the expectation output should be like this

Anyone could help me to write dax like this case ?

Hi, @chrisyan_manalu ;

First you could create a new table.

newtbale = ADDCOLUMNS( UNION(VALUES('Table'[BOOKING DATE]),VALUES('Table'[RESCHEDULE DATE])),"month",MONTH([BOOKING DATE]))

Then create a measure.

Measure = 
CALCULATE(COUNT('Table'[NAME]),FILTER('Table',[RESCHEDULE DATE]<>BLANK()&&MONTH([RESCHEDULE DATE])=MAX('newtbale'[month])))+
CALCULATE(COUNT('Table'[NAME]),FILTER('Table',[RESCHEDULE DATE]=BLANK()&&MONTH([BOOKING DATE])=MAX('newtbale'[month])))

the final show:
