Hi All. I have the following plot:
How can I change the colour of the datapoints by a data categorisation:
datapoint 1 = group A
datapoint 2 = group A
datapoint 3 = group B
datapoint 4 = group A
?
A lot of datapoints, so I donnot want to do this by hand. Also doing this manual, does not allow me to add a legend with the groups.
thanks in advance!
Solved! Go to Solution.
I finally figured it out, it was very simple. You just put the variable you would like to colour the datapoints on in the Legend section instead of in Details section.
@Anonymous
check below pic for color coding scatter plot.
Select plot -> Go to -> Format -> Data color -> unable show all
Thank you for your reply. However now I need to change the colour of each datapoint manually, which also does not allow me to add a legend.
Is there an option to do this automatically?
Unable this for plot
Thanks! Now it looks like this:
However, it colours by customer number (see below), but I would like to colour it by Group A/B variable. How to achieve this?
@Anonymous
Move Group A/B up/above customer number
Then my entire plot changes (like this 😞 )
Check what you have taken on the x-axis.
or give more details
