How to check If Condition for MonthID Columns in DAX?

Hello,

Required Logic is:

  • Measure = WHERE [Year Month] = > [Forecast Publish Month], THEN [Customer Depletions Forecast M-0] ELSE [Customer Depletions M-0]

For the above requirement try to create Dax like below:

Test Match 2 = IF('Date'[MonthID]) >= 'ForecastDate'[MonthID],Depletions[ForecastBase],'Depletions'[Actual])

Test Match 3 = IF(AVERAGE('Date'[MonthID]) >= AVERAGE('ForecastDate'[MonthID]),Depletions[ForecastBase],'Depletions'[Actual])

Not getting the desired results , always falls under false condition only .

Please let me know I can Create the Measure for the above scenario.

Hi @hari_bi,

Accoring to your logic, what about creating calculated column with the formula below?

Measure =
IF (
    [Year Month] >= [Forecast Publish Month],
    [Customer Depletions Forecast M-0],
    [Customer Depletions M-0]
)

If you still need help, please share some data sample and your desired output so that we could help further on it?

Best Regards,

Cherry
