I'm trying to change my dates in my graphs to a mmm yy format but it's not working. I've already changed the format in the modelling section but none of this is making a difference to the report

Your date Heirarchy may be superseeding your custom formatting. Do you have both Year & Month in your Axis date heirarchy?
Since you don't appear to be using a Date Table, add a cutom column on your data table formatting the month as you want it displayed. Use this as the Axis instead.

@Anonymous Hmm. You have a lot of dates in that table, triple check you are using the right one. I would try to remove and then re-add the field in the Axis field well. Then maybe save and reopen the PBIX. Also check that your axis is Categorical and not Continuous.
