How to change slicer search box text font color

found an old post here regarding this but i believe the answer was marked by mistake as it does not work:

I have created a support case for this and below is their response. TLDR, there's no way to change this and is apparently by design.

 


I tried to reproduce the scenario on my end. I was not able to get the exact color as you were using, but I can see that it is something which is by design.

  • I changed the text color to orange and still see the Search text as grey, but the search icon is orange:

  • When we search for any information, I can see the color of text as orange. Please refer the image below:

I believe that Search text as grey is by design, defining the slicer as White or Orange, do not changes the color for the Search Text.

You can do that by changing parameters in a theme.

Either you can create your own theme or customise an existing one.

can you show me exactly where? i've looked and couldnt find to change the font color in that search box...

If you just want to change the font color statically, you can do so.

Unless you use a custom visual.
