Hi friends
I want to demonstrate the over time in coloumn chart in PBI , but when i create the visual in PBI it counts the Time values for different people instead of suming them .
i ve changed the overtime coloumn format to time in edit queries but still doesn work , also i ve tried to quick calc too but there is no SUM there !
i ll be so thankful if u guys help me on this
I guess the question that I have is, how do you sum time? What is your desired output? What does something like 12:32 PM + 1:54 AM equal exactly? Sounds to me like you need to create another column or measure that calculates the differences between the times to get the duration.
indeed its time duration , i just wanted to sum work overtime so that i could use it in coloumn chart ,for example , but the solution which bhavesh told me, solved my problem completely
Hi @mouzi4us,
It's not very clear about "sum work overtime" you mentioned, if possible would you please provide more detailed information about expected output?
If you have found a valid solution to achieve your requirement, would you please share your solution so that it can help other community menbers those have similar requests.
Thanks,
Yuliana Gu
