Hi there,
I have a CSV file that updates almost every night and i would like to update that into my power bi desktop automatically, So that i don't need to press the refresh data button every time to update it. Does somebody know how?
Hope Someone can help me.

Hi @Schoolsupport ,
Currently, the only refresh option within BI Desktop is the manual Refresh you find in the top ribbon . Check out the link for more information on data refresh.
But you could
1.Use “Incremental refresh ”in desktop and then publish the pbix to service .
Create parameter “RangeStart” and “RangeEnd” in Query Editor --> Right-click table name in Filed tab --> Select Incremental Refresh --> Input Store data for the most recent X days (e.g. 10 days) and keep refreshing the data for the most recent Y days (e.g. the last 5 days), if the day is not finished, just refresh to yesterday. --> Publish to service --> Configure gateway --> Configure scheduled refresh.

2. Use “Scheduled refresh” in service

3.Put the CSV file into OneDrive, and use OneDrive refresh in service.

Working as an intern and am new to power bi.
I read the links but i'm having a rough time wrapping my head around it.
Could you maybe explain what to do?
Or is there an easier way?
