How to auto refresh data connection ?

HI,

I have a live connection to power bi that I want it to be updated every hour in every day in the report data and charts. How can I do that?

the photo shows data up to 9:28 AM and now its around 12 PM so I want it to be updated automaticly every hour for every day.

It’s my pleasure to answer for you.

Schedule refresh can't be performed in PBI desktop.Only automatic page refresh can be used in desktop.However,Automatic page refresh is available only for DirectQuery sources,and your data source doesn't meet the conditions.

So,I think you may need to publish the report to PBI Service,then you can schedule refresh.

@naifAhmedB , Data should refresh with a refresh button. : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-data

In option and setting there is an option to clear cache. Clear cache and try once.

I have looked around on how to auto refresh using desktop but still can't find an answer
