How to add logo to the dashboard

Hi All,

I have a dashboard and i want to add my company logo to the dashboard by adding a tile. I only see an option for URL and not image from desktop.

I crated a new report with just the logo and wanted to publish to the workspace and add to the tile, but the publish icon is greyed out 😞

@Anonymous you mean publish icon is disabled in power bi desktop and your report just has an image of a logo?

Yes the new report just has an image of a logo and a text box. Does power bi need data from a source to publish report?

@Anonymous interesting yes it needs a table, I clicked enter data and created an empty table and publish icon lit up.

Hmm that is a bummer, what will people do who want to upload jpeg images on their laptops or shared drives.

Yeah, you need data to make the publish option enable in power desktop.

You can simply use the add image option and import image into power bi desktop.

I think you do not see my point.

We have an image shared locally (.jpeg) file and not an URL.  I know you can add image and it asks to enter a URL. I am aware of that process. My QUESTION is how to upload an image (.jpeg) file from your desktop. Can you please share that you did without adding an URL?
