I have a simple column chart and need to add a min/max "bucket" on the chart.
This seems simple but yet again I'm having trouble.
The red lines in this chart are drawn with a screenshot app.
How can I make them using PowerBI?
Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous
You might refer to this blog to add the vertical line in line chart (not column chart) for a workaround:

I also attached the sample pbix i created here:
@v-diye-msftThis is such a creative solution. Thanks for pointing it out!
Sadly... I need the chart to be a column chart and I can't seem to find a way to make a dual axis column chart that would allow for this solution to work in my case. 😕
Thanks again!
Jeremy
@Anonymous - I am not aware of any options to draw vertical lines on things dynamically. Is that what you are going for?
@Greg_Deckler Yes... that's exactly what I'm going for.
I was thinking of some way to find the max count of the entire series, then multiply that by the the min and the max values (the red line numbers on the image above) and then just graph them along with the other data. This would give two lines the same height as the tallest column but at the min and max levels.
Possible?
@Anonymous - You could experiment with stacked visuals perhaps but that's always dicey at best.
