How to Setup a Tooltip page link to a Button instead of normally doing in a Visualization

Hi,

I have a requirement where i need to display a Tooltip page which contains info on the page that is being viewed.

Normally we can link this using the Tooltip option in any of the visauls. But my requirement is to link the same to a Information button and show. But the button does not have Tooltip option.

Please let me know how to get around this.

Hey @Anonymous ,

I create a measure that returns the circled information symbol like so:

vizAid information circle = UNICHAR(128712)

I assign the measure to a card visual, format the visual (e.g. disable the category label), and now I have a visual that can be used to display a tooltip page.

Hopefully, this provides what you are looking for!

Regards,

Tom

Just tried this and works perfectly by allowing the page filter to work on the report page tooltip. Brilliant solution.

@Anonymous , a transparent table on top of it.

There is something suggested for card drill-through. I think the same solution should work for the tooltip on the button
