How to Group by Category

Hi,

 

Needing assistance to categories IDs by service combinations:

Thanks for the quick response. Not sure if I understand the measure provided.

 

The Service Name is actually a string and I need to identify if the string contains the text: standard or high, to then have the ability to roll up and categorized this at the ID level.

Hi @bbwong,

Can you please share some dummy data that keep the raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.

I was able to resolve my query by using the measure on this post:

You can create a column in the query editor that just has Standard, High, etc. (text after delimiter of "= " for example), and then use a measure like this.

 

NewMeasure = CONCATENATEX(DISTINCT(Table[ServiceName]), Table[ServiceName], "/")
