How to: Connect Two Tables based on criterions from 3 coloumns

Hi,

I am trying to combine two tables that have two coloumns each. We need to combine these tables based on characteristics of two coloumns of Table A with one coloumn of Table B - As shown in the image below. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jacob.

Based on your data, is it simply that you wish to join each row on the Table A with the rows on Table B based on them having the same Industry?

First things you will need to do is ensure you have a constant value for each industry. You can either do a find/replace or make a new column to achieve this.

After that is done, you can use the Merge operation to bring the tables together.  This is all being done within Edit Queries.

Some Questions to answer:  In scenarioes where you have more than M rows in an industry in Table A and N rows for the same industry in Table B, are you expecting a result that is M time N rows?
