Hi Team,
I have two tables date dimension and Store_Sales . For the selected month I need to classify the new and existing stores and there sales trend for last 12 months .
Logic for identifying New & Existing :
If I select the month May 2017 , then stores opened On or prior to May 2016 are "Existing" and stores opened after May 2016 are "New".
I have created logic as below
To get May2016 from the selected month " May 2017" . I have used DATEADD(Date,-12,month) function to create new column as storeClassifydate
IF(StoreOpenedDate>storeClassifydate,"NEW","EXISTING") . But the problem is StoreClassifyDate is recalculating for each date .
I need to save the May2016 as constant value . Is this possible in Power BI .
Thanks,

Thanks smoupre for the reply . I can't hard code the date value , it is dynamic filter .
I used the below logic which worked for me . If Datediff between storeopendate and TxnDate >12 then New else Old .
Thanks
You could just create a measure and set it to May 1st, 2016.
Measure = DATE(2016,5,1)
