How i can connect MARIADB with PowerBI

I have my database in MARIADB, installed with XAMPP in a server with CentOS 7 and i try to use the ODBC Connector of MariaDB in a Windows 7 computer, the connection test is correct but when i try to Get Data, it popup a message "Unable to Connect We encountered an error while trying to connect. Details: "Specified cast is not valid", and its the same message if i try the String connection.

If i try to Edit and put a Select consult in the box SQL statement(optional), then i can get the Query1 with all my results, but not the tables of my squema.

Any ideas, how i can connect my MariaDB whith PowerBI

Sorry about my syntax and orthography english its not my natal language

I have managed to do it, but in a random-ish way.

I couldnt get powerBI to read the table list in a way it understood so instead or relying on the table views i have written a simple SQL query to return the results i want from the database.

1) Install the ODBC connector that matches your database Version

2) In PowerbI use the ODBC connector and select your database

3) select advanced

4) insert your query

Next > Finish

Vola!
