How do I use a what if parameter to change the value in a table column

Suppose I have a table of data with 2 columns - the first column contains ten rows with each row containing the digits 1 to 10 in ascending order. In the second column I put the formula "=IF(Col1 > 5, "Greater", "Less") and get the intended result. However when I change the static '5' in the formula to reflect a parameter value from a what-if parameter, all the values in column 2 say "Greater". Would anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Hi @Chaz,

AFAIK, power bi not support to create dynamic calculate column/table based on slicer/filters.

Calculated Column/Table Change Dynamically According to Slicer Selection in the Report.

Hi, is this still something that cannot be done? I tried accessing the link but it says "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."

This is something that would be very helpful for our organization.
