How do I search for an occurrence in a column with multiple words in an item

I have a SharePoint list that has a field that allows people to input multiple names. I am now creating a report out of that list.

 

The issue I have been facing is:

  • I am not sure how do I separate persons A, B, and C and count their occurrences, and show them in a chart.

Right now it takes Person A, Person B as one item and Person B, Person A as one item.

 

The desired result should be something like this based on the above image:
