Hey guys,
I do want to create a hierarchy - but not really the so called "hierarchy" in the DAX view. I mean an organizational hierarchy with different levels of aggregation. That's how my input data look like:
Ident | Name | Title | Level |
animals | Animals | 1 | |
a02 | Mammals | Animals | 2 |
a0203 | Dogs | Mammals | 3 |
a020307 | Retrievers | Dogs | 4 |
a04 | Fish | Animals | 2 |
a0405 | Sharks | Fish | 3 |
a040509 | Sawsharks | Sharks | 4 |
... | ... | ... | ... |
I basically want an output table like this (down to level 4):
Ident | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 |
a020307 | Animals | Mammals | Dogs | Retrievers |
a040509 | Animals | Fish | Sharks | Sawsharks |
I tried with pivoting, but for the 4th level, ist leaves levels 1 and 2 blank, which I dont want.
Any ideas?
Thank you guys.
