I think you need to change the Windows Region Settings.
- Go to Region Setting
- Click on region
- Click on change "Data Formats"
- Select Short Date Type as "YYYY-MM-DD"
- Once you change the format in region settings I think you need to re-open your PBI file. Once you it opened go to Formatting of date and Click "*" in dateformat and you will get your results.
