and i would like to get the average per month like below
Average per month | |
Oct-20 | 1.50 |
Nov-20 | 2.00 |
Dec-20 | 2.50 |
any suggestions of what needs to be done?

First, create a calculated column.
month year = FORMAT('Table'[Date Created],"mmm-YY")
Then write a Measure.
Measure = AVERAGE('Table'[Days difference])
@ckoulis , Create a date table. Join it with date created and have month year in there and then take Avergae measure.
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
