I need to store the value in the StartDate column for the most recent file in a report for use elsewhere in my Power Query. I can filter to that value all day long, but I would like to store it so I can reference the value as a variable. How can I do this?
As an example, I need to store CSV2's StartDate so I can later check to see if a file's StartDate matches the most recent export's start date.
File | StartDate | FileIndex |
CSV2 | 12/12/19 | 1 |
CSV1 | 12/11/19 | 2 |

@Anonymous you cannot write back from power query until you use R script or so.
