How can I make buttons independent to slicer selections

Hi,

I have three buttons for last week, last month, and current year - where I use relative dates in filter pane to determine each bookmark for the buttons.

I also have different slicers for department, region, etc.

However, how can I make the slicer to the left not change back to default whenever I jump between the three buttons?

Unchecking Data does not work for this particular case.

One brute force method is to make a copy of all the visuals for each button and then switch between what is shown, however this is too tedious. That is why I am wondering if there is a more elegant solution.

Similar question, but now answered:

Thank you!

Hi @Jon07 ,

I have achieved the similar thing by unchecking DATA option on the bookmark and it works. It doesn't affect my slicer.

Thanks,

Pragati

Thank you for your answer, but I already tested this and it does not work. That is because the button itself is a filter. Meaning that if I first click on "last week", then "last month", the second button will ignore relative date filter.
