Hello,
I have a date table D_DATES with the columns: DATE_ID, DATE and WEEK
The column WEEK contains the date of the beginning of the week (Monday) of the date
I want to use a slicer that is based on the column WEEK
The minimum value is indeed the first Monday in the table and the maximum value is the last Monday in the table.
But when I move the sliders, they change per day, not per week (as the column WEEK only contains Mondays).
Is this possible?
Maybe I need to use an other kind of slicer?
Anybody has an idea?
Thanks,
R.W.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I suggest you create an idea for it in

Hi @Anonymous ,
I didn't find a custom visual can achieve it. As a workaround , you can use list instead of date range, or you can use WEEKNUM instead of first day of week.
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

@Anonymous , Not very clear, if you use range slicer on the week, you will get all the dates in between. Only list can give you distinct week in a slicer
Thanks @amitchandak
Indeed that's what I see.
So there is no way to make the sliders "jump" per week instead of per day?
Maybe there is an other visual that I can use?
