How can I force the data to show on the chart/graph?

Hi there,

I use PBI for a while but one problem haunts me all alone. The data label. On some of my visuals, such as common bar/chart visual, some data labels do not show on the visual because of the size of the visual. That's annoying. I want all the data labels to show on the visual, is it possible. if yes, where can I set up this function? thanks a lot.

@thomaschen , if the size is too small. Then you will no see that on visual. You can try changing label position from middle to top or bottom.

Or try to increase the size of the visual and reduce the font size.

Hi @thomaschen ,

You could turn on the option of "Overflow text" to have a try.

You may want to look into to Customization of indiviual data labels see if this can help.

It allows you you change the font size of indiviual Label/Color Formatting & Font Size etc.

thanks, but I try all these methods and they don't work. I guess the only way to show the data label is to re-size the visual.
